The 'Bigger Than Me' singer addresses the rumored romance between him and former bandmate Harry, saying fans are 'so deeply entrenched in what they believe that they won't see the truth.'

AceShowbiz - For years, a vocal minority of One Direction fans have fueled a conspiracy theory alleging that the close bond between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson concealed a romantic relationship. Despite Tomlinson repeatedly denying these rumors, they have persisted even during the band's indefinite hiatus.

Tomlinson, 32, recently opened up about his frustrations with the ongoing speculation. "I realized years ago that there's nothing I can say or do to dispel those who believe in it," he told Brazilian outlet G1. "They're so deeply entrenched in what they believe that they won't see the truth."

The conspiracy gained traction in the early 2010s when One Direction, formed on "The X Factor," enjoyed immense popularity. It was even featured in a 2019 episode of the hit show "Euphoria."

While Tomlinson acknowledges that the rumors can be irritating, he recognizes them as part of the entertainment industry. "It does irritate me a little bit, you know? … It gets a bit personal at times," he said, "especially since I have my son Freddie, who is the most important person in my life."

Despite the rumors, Tomlinson has praised Styles in recent years, referring to him as "like a brother." He has also been candid about the emotional toll of One Direction's split, which preceded personal tragedies including the loss of his mother and sister.

Despite the challenges, Tomlinson remains open to a potential reunion with Styles and the other One Direction members, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik. "Getting back together at some point is hard to imagine right now," he said. "But I'd be surprised if we didn't have a moment where we had a reunion."

In the meantime, Tomlinson chooses to focus on his own path rather than dwelling on the conspiracy theories. "There's nothing I can do about it," he said. "So be it!"
