On Thursday, April 10, McDermott confirmed their relationship with a sneaky Instagram Stories post featuring a breakfast spread of eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes in Malibu, California. Eagle-eyed fans quickly identified a glimpse of Tomlinson's signature cross tattoo in the photo, sparking a flurry of excitement across social media.
One fan wrote on X, "zara knew what she was doing by posting that story with louis arm on it, believe me us (girls) watch every detail of a pic before posting it on our story haha." Another fan gushed, "I'm so happy for louis and zara. genuinely. i am."
