Sarah announces her departure from 'Love Island USA' on Instagram, citing an exciting project 'that conflicts directly with the shooting dates' for the dating show.

AceShowbiz - "Love Island USA" may have found a new host. Following Sarah Hyland's exit, a new report claimed that "Vanderpump Rules" star Ariana Madix will take over the hosting gig for season 6 of the Peacock series.

According to TMZ, Ariana hasn't formally signed the deal just yet. However, the deal is expected to be closed soon with an announcement following shortly after that.

Sarah announced her departure from "Love Island USA" on her Instagram account on Wednesday, March 27. "I have committed to an exciting project, that will be announced soon, that conflicts directly with the shooting dates for LOVE ISLAND USA," the "Modern Family" alum wrote. "While I'm sad I can't return, I hope to see lots of love this summer on Peacock this upcoming season!"

Sarah joined the dating competition show for season 4 when the show moved to Peacock from CBS. The first three seasons of the series, which was adapted to the U.S. version back in 2019, was hosted by Arielle Vandenberg.

Ariana isn't entirely unfamiliar with "Love Island". The former contestant of "Dancing with the Stars" made a cameo appearance in season 5 of the dating series to host an intense round of her "favorite" game, "Mr. and Mrs."

She's also a fan of the show. She made the revelation in season 10 of "Vanderpump Rules" during an argument with her then-boyfriend Tom Sandoval. "You don't sit there and watch episodes of 'Love Island' with me," she complained.

Ariana recently made her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning revival of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre. The star, who began performances on January 29 , is set to play Roxie Hart through April 7. She joins the cast which includes Amra-Faye Wright, Max von Essen, Red Concepcion, Lili Thomas and R. Lowe.
