AceShowbiz - SZA poked fun at her asthma after performing at a concert over 8,000 feet above sea level in Bogota, Colombia.
"Being an asthma girlie my first time performing 8000+ ft above sea level was hard as hell lol," she wrote on X/Twitter, adding a shout-out to the supportive Bogota crowd, "THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CARRYING ME BOGOTA !! Te amo por Siempre."
Bogota's extreme elevation, over 3,300 feet higher than Denver, is commonly used for altitude training by sports teams.
SZA's high-altitude performance was part of her South American tour, following an electrifying set at Lollapalooza Argentina. In Buenos Aires, she engaged with fans in Spanish, earning rave reviews.
SZA also received an outpouring of praise from Sesame Street's Cookie Monster, who invited her back after her recent visit. "Me loved having you on our Street, @SZA! Let me know which type of cookies are your favorite for next time," the official Twitter account wrote.
SZA has not yet disclosed her preferred cookie, but her appearance on "Sesame Street" has been a long-held dream for her. Notably, she is not the first musician to receive love from Cookie Monster, with Lizzo also performing a mini-concert on a cookie flute on the show last year.
