Actress Sofia admits in a new interview that she couldn't watch her husband's critically-acclaimed television show, explaining that she needs 'something else.'

AceShowbiz - Sofia Pernas, the wife of actor Justin Hartley, recently spoke about her aversion to watching his emotional drama series, "This Is Us". "I was very honest with him," Pernas, 34, told PEOPLE. "I saw the first season, and I don't know how people binge-watch that show."
Pernas, who tends to keep her emotions private, found the show's dramatic plotlines too overwhelming. "I couldn't do it," she said. "I need something else... I can't cry every day."
Meanwhile, Hartley, 47, starred in all six seasons of "This Is Us" as Kevin Pearson, a character whose life was filled with tragedy and heartbreak. After the series wrapped, Hartley transitioned to a new role as Colter Shaw in "Tracker", a drama about a "rewardist" who helps people in need.
Pernas will make a guest appearance on "Tracker" as Billie, a rival of Hartley's character. She described working with her husband again as "like riding a bike." "We get asked all the time, like, 'You guys don't take a break from each other?' I'm like, 'I love him.' Thankfully that's reciprocated," Pernas said.
The couple first met as co-stars on "The Young and the Restless" in 2015. Pernas initially didn't remember their first encounter as Hartley was fully focused on his work. "When Justin's in work mode... he is like a Terminator. He has one goal, he has one focus," Pernas remarked.
Despite their initial professional distance, the pair eventually began dating and married in 2021. Pernas was surprised by their compatibility and shared similarities.
"I always say it's so cliche for everyone who's with someone to obviously be obligated to say, 'This is my best friend.' But he truly, truly is," Pernas said. "We get along in so many ways, we're so, so compatible."
