AceShowbiz - Kanye West appeared to have added Ice Spice to a long list of people whom he is feuding with. The "All of the Lights" rapper called out the "Princess Diana" hitmaker for not clearing a verse for the new version of his single titled "New Body".
The 46-year-old hip-hop artist made use of Instagram Stories to get things off his chest about the uncleared verse created by the 24-year-old spitter, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston. He shared a message that was reposted by a blog via Instagram on Tuesday, March 19.
Over a white screen, Ye simply penned, "ICE SPICE SENT A VERSE IN FOR NEW BODY NOW HER TEAM IS SAYING WE CAN'T USE IT." He appeared to have removed the Story since it could no longer be found on his Instagram page.
The post prompted social media users to voice their opinions on the matter. In the comments section, one in particular penned, "It's aight he better without her her music is absolute doggs**t. I would've been disappointed and disgusted af if he put her on there." Meanwhile, other users shared their views on who they think should be featured on "New Body".
One of them stated, "No verse for a new body will surpass Nicki Minaj's," adding a flame emoji. Similarly, another suggested, "@ye just give Nicki a offer she can't refuse man why you acting like money don't talk." In the meantime, a fourth penned, "Need Doja Cat on that honestly. Just makes more sense."
Ye's "New Body" was originally set to be included in his album titled "Yandhi" in 2018. However, the record was never released.
The "Flashing Lights" spitter joined forces with Nicki for the original version of the track, which was then slated to be featured in his collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign named "Vultures 1". Before the track was unleashed, Nicki declined her verse to be featured on the song.
