AceShowbiz - Chloe Bennet and Charles Melton apparently entered 2024 with a new blank page in their love relationship. Words are the couple has quietly pulled the plug on their romance for quite some time.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that the 31-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor broke up at the end of 2023. It's unclear why things fell apart between them or who made the call to end it, but the site speculates that the relationship simply fizzled out.
The split news aligns with the fact that they haven't been seen together to kick off the new year. At the Golden Globe Awards on January 7, instead of Chloe, he opted to bring his mother Sukyong Melton as his date.
He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor - Motion Picture for his role in "May December" and said it "meant the world" to have his mom there, especially after feeling a bit ill ahead of the event. "It's so grounding," he told Entertainment Tonight. "I was a little under the weather a few days ago, and she was making me chicken soup and taking care of me, it was really nice."
As for Chloe, she has been spotted hanging out with another actor, "The Bear" star Lionel Boyce. In January, they were seen enjoying a night out together, leading to speculation that they might be a new item. However, sources say they are just good friends.
Chloe and Charles were confirmed to be dating in May 2023. They mostly kept their relationship low-key and were last seen together in August, when they attended a Taylor Swift concert in Los Angeles and were photographed strolling out side by side.
