AceShowbiz - Kanye West is full of controversy, now and then. The 46-year-rapper and Yeezy designer was ridiculed online after a resurfaced video saw him flashing his buttcrack as he wore jeans with no underwear.

Shared by DJ Kam Bennett, the clip saw the "Vultures 1" artist walking to his car. The star, who was wearing a gray top and a pair of light-washed jeans, was later seen hopping to the driver seat but not without flashing his backside. "Is that yo a**? Are you freeballing? Look at yo a**. Oh, man!" the DJ said.

Upon catching wind of the clip, Internet users had a lot to say since most people found it uncomfortable to not wear any underwear in jeans. "I would neva freeball in jeans that’s serial killer behavior," one X user commented. Similarly, one other wrote, "Who the hell freeballs in jeans man that’s just asking for trouble."

Some fans, however, defended Ye. "You people could never comprehend the freedom and bliss that free balling provides," one said. Echoing the sentiment, someone else added, "Try it before you dismiss it. The worries are in your head. Jeans are not sandpaper."

That aside, Ye and his collaborator Ty Dolla $ign are now celebrating the success of their album "Vultures 1". The new set debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart after earning 148,000 equivalent album units in the chart dated February 24.

Showing support for the two hip-hop stars was Wiz Khalifa. On Monday, February 19, Wiz took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to gush over his fellow musicians, "I'm super hype for Ty." The 36-year-old went on to exclaim, "Him and Ye's album slaps uncontrollably."

The record, however, was surrounded with controversy as it was briefly removed from Apple Music, iTunes and Apple Music charts due to a distribution issue. Ozzy Osbourne, meanwhile, slammed Ye for sampling "Iron Man" without consent in his song "Vultures". In addition, "Good (Don't Die)" was scrubbed from Spotify due to "copyright infringement," as alleged by Donna Summer's estate.
