In a new episode of 'The View', the co-host defends the 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker who is accused of ignoring Celine, who presented the Album of the Year award to her at the 66th Grammy Awards.

AceShowbiz - Sunny Hostin shared her two cents on the controversy surrounding Taylor Swift and Celine Dion at the 2024 Grammy Awards. In a new episode of "The View", Sunny defended the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker who was accused of ignoring Celine, who presented the Album of the Year award to her.

"I know there's controversy. People are saying Taylor Swift didn't give [Dion] enough flowers. That was Taylor's moment, you know?" Sunny said in the Monday, February 5 episode of the morning talk show. She added that the 34-year-old singer "got caught up in the moment" after breaking a Grammy record.

"She was probably shocked," Sunny further explained. "Everybody's shading her." Fellow co-host Sara Haines co-signed Sunny's opinion, saying that Taylor was probably "shocked" and had "a lot of emotion" going on.

Ana Navarro also praised the "Karma" songstress for how she handled the "bullying" with "such grace and such joy." She added, "She's not letting them take away her happiness and her success."

At the 66th Grammys, Taylor took home "Album of the Year" for her chart-topping album "Midnights", marking her fourth win in the category. Not stopping there, Taylor is also the first artist to win "Album of the Year" four times.

However, some viewers thought Taylor disrespected Celine. As she took the stage to accept the award, the former could be seen sharing warm embraces with her collaborators Jack Antonoff and Lana Del Rey before snatching the trophy out of the hands of the 55-year-old diva.

Taylor later dismissed the feud rumors by sharing a sweet picture of them together taken backstage. The said snap featured the "Shake It Off" hitmaker wrapping her arms across the "Power of Love" singer, who made a rare appearance after her stiff-person syndrome. Taylor placed hand on the "My Heart Will Go On" singer's shoulder as they leaned their heads against one another's.
