AceShowbiz - Alabama Barker has treated herself to new inks following her 18th birthday. The daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler debuted the fresh inks as she revealed that she was getting "tatted together" with her father.
On Thursday, January 4, the former reality TV star, who turned 18 years old on December 24, made use of Instagram Story to upload a series of photos highlighting the inks. She got the tattoos from an artist named Chuey Quintanar during a tattoo session with her father.
One of the pictures showed that Alabama got "Isn't she lovely" inked on the side of her hand. She was making a reference to a song by Stevie Wonder titled "Isn't She Lovely". On the reason why she got the tattoo, she spilled, "Fun fact: I was rocked as a baby to that song almost every night." She also set the track as the background music of the Story.
In another photo, it could be seen that the former "Meet the Barkers" star got two small sparkle icons tattooed on her other hand. The ink was placed slightly above her wrist and a distance away below her fingers. Over the picture, she simply wrote, "2nd."
Not stopping there, Alabama also shared a behind-the-scenes photo during the tattoo session. In the picture, she was seen flashing a "V" sign with her hand while accompanying her father Travis getting his tattoo.
In the meantime, Travis was photographed striking a pose to the camera and giving the same hand sign while the tattoo artist was doing his work on the musician's hand. Over the photo, Alabama penned, "Tatted together."
The Stories came more than one week after Alabama celebrated her 18th birthday. On the special day, Travis paid a heartfelt tribute via Instagram. "Happy Birthday my beautiful daughter. I can't believe my baby is 18 and all grown up. Being your Dad is the biggest joy in the world. May you be surrounded by love and all your favorite things today and forever! I'm so proud of you and I love you so much @alabamaluellabarker," he wrote at that time.
