The 'Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi' host is reportedly 'developing something' with the 'Black-ish' creator after being photographed hanging out together in the Big Apple.

AceShowbiz - Padma Lakshmi apparently is starting a new relationship with Kenya Barris. Shortly after being spotted holding hands with Kenya, the "Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi" host reportedly is "getting to know" the "Black-ish" creator.
On Monday, November 20, a source revealed details of the 53-year-old TV personality and the 49-year-old filmmaker's relationship in a new report. Speaking to PEOPLE, the source spilled, "They met through work." The source went on to say, "They are developing something together and are getting to know each other. It's very new."
Padma and Kenya sparked romance rumors following their PDA-filled day out in New York City on Sunday. In pictures obtained and published by Daily Mail, the two were spotted making their way to McNally Jackson Bookstore in the SoHo neighborhood. While crossing a street, they were photographed holding each other's hands while seemingly having a conversation.
At one point, the former "Top Chef" host could be seen holding her smartphone in both of her hands while the "Girls Trip" creator was taking a serious look at it. In the meantime, they were standing close next to one another. According to the outlet, she "never left his side" throughout their day out.
For the stroll, Padma looked chic in her stylish outfit. She opted to wear a long-sleeved ivory sweater that came with a plunging V-neckline and pockets on its front side. She covered her chest with an orange scarf. She also donned a pair of skin-tight long black wide leg jeans, white high boots with towering heels and brown rounded sunglasses.
To accessorize the look, Padma added a gold wrist watch. On one of her shoulders, she carried a small black bag with a matching strap. In addition, her long black hair was styled into loose waves, let loose and parted in the middle.
In the meantime, Kenya matched Padma's scarf with his bright orange insulated jacket. He also sported a white tee, navy blue sweatshirt, a pair of long green army pants and white Nike sneakers. He added a chain necklace and a pair of black sunglasses.
Padma was previously married to author Salman Rushdie from 2004 to 2007. She shares 13-year-old daughter Krishna Thea with her former beau Adam Dell. Meanwhile, Kenya has six children with his estranged wife Dr. Rania "Rainbow" Barris, from whom he filed for divorce in 2022 after more than two decades of marriage.
