AceShowbiz - NLE Choppa has made a huge change in his life. The rapper has now apparently converted his religion to Islam as he was spotted offering a prayer in a video that surfaced online earlier this week.

In the clip, which made its way out on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, the 21-year-old could be seen practicing a prayer in a mosque with an unnamed man. The emcee, however, has yet to confirm whether he indeed convert to become a Muslim.

The video emerged nearly a month after his mom, Angela Potts, expressed concern regarding his whereabouts. "Y'all help me pray over my child," she wrote back in October. "He plans on moving back to Cottonwood where we worked hard to get out of just for a mixtape SMH! I ain't talked to this boy in hours and he usually doesn't do this. One thing I know about my son is that he doesn't go ghost for any reason."

Angela went on to note, "Whatever your working on I pray GOD is guiding you." She then implored her followers, "If y'all hear from his PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP ! To the fans he wants to please thanks a lot."

NLE Choppa was quick to address his disappearance though. "I appreciate ya'll concern but the missing narrative isn't cool, especially knowing that people really do go missing everyday," he penned.

"I took a little time to myself to get back to my roots, but trust I'm all good. Apologies to anyone that was worried," the rapper further stated. "We don't run from battles we take em chin up. IM BACK [purple heart emoji]."
