During her Instagram Live, the Memphis rapper's baby mama Marissa comments on the MC's controversial 'I'm Coming Out' tweet that previously caused chatter online.

AceShowbiz - NLE Choppa's baby mama has weighed in on the rapper's recent social media antics. During her Instagram Live, Marissa commented on the Memphis MC's controversial "I'm Coming Out" tweet that caused chatter online.

"My baby daddy is not gay," Marissa said. She doubled down on her remarks, saying, "He is not gay. *laughs* He's not gay, he's just trolling y'all because y'all think he gay. Or whatever the f**k."

She went on noting, "I don't know why y'all troll him. But it's a marketing strategy. It's an attention-seeking thing. He not gay. I mean, if he was, that's his preference."

Internet users, meanwhile, blasted Marissa for always minding Choppa's business. "I won't ever get on the internet to defend The Dad of my child ever !" one person wrote. Another echoed, "Ik he gets tired bc of her speaking on him because I do … & it's not even my business she always telling."

"Girl seek help how you know what that man like smh like why she always speaking on him," one user commented. Someone even accused Marissa of being obsessed with the "S**t Me Out 2" artist, saying, "She giving obsession that's why he left weirdo."

Prior to this, Choppa clarified his eyebrow-raising tweet. On Friday, September 6, Choppa cleared things up as the tweet was meant to tease his new project. "With New Song (PINNED^) A New Project This Month, and Black Duck Boots," he replied to his original post. He added, "Yall ain't let me finish."

Despite his attempt to explain himself, fans apparently were not here for Choppa's trolling antics on social media. "You had enough characters to finish that caption you knew what you were doing," one fan blasted the MC. Another said, "Don't piss me off."

"you know what exactly what you doing and trying to get at," one other fumed. Someone, meanwhile, pointed out that he could easily edit his tweet if he wanted to, saying, "the edit tweet option was there for you."

Choppa sparked debate when he seemed to hint at his sexuality in a tweet on Thursday. "I'm Coming Out ….," he wrote at the time alongside two mirror selfies of himself wearing a white tank top and light-washed denim pants.

The rapper earned mixed responses with some people slamming him for his bad timing. "I'm still processing Quan death. Not right now. I'm not in the mood fr," one fan said, referring to Rich Homie Quan, who died at 34 following an alleged overdose on the same day.

Some others, on the other hand, doubted the intention, accusing Choppa of "publicity stunt." One commenter wrote, "He's taking it to another level at this point. Maybe he really is.. maybe he's not.. but attention seeking to 100."
