AceShowbiz - Meek Mill had something to celebrate these days. When speaking to his pal and fellow rapper Rick Ross, the "Expensive Pain" artist divulged that his felony record has finally been expunged.

"My record was still showing up as if I was a felon, if I tried to do anything, like normal," the 36-year-old told the MMG boss on "The Morning Hustle". He added, "And the system - it took a few months to go by, but I got the letter yesterday telling me that my record is officially clean."

Rick Ross was smiling upon hearing Meek's revelation. The former then gushed, "You already know! That boy Meek Mill record clear!"

Back in January, Meek received a pardon from the former governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf. At that time, he shared a certificate signed by Governor Tom Wolf, outlining his prior convictions and the decision for him to be relieved of the legal consequences resulting from them.

"The Board of Pardons, after full hearing, upon due public notice, and in open session, have recommended to me, in writing, with the reason therefor, the pardon of the said Robert R. Williams which recommendation and reasons have been filed in the office of the Lieutenant Governor," so read the certificate. "Given under my hand and the Great Seal of the State, at the City of Harrisburg, this 12th day of January in the year of our Lord 2023. By the governor, Tom Wolf."

In the caption, Meek raved, "Thankyall. I'm only gone do more for my community on god!" He added the hashtag, "#newlevelsunlocked."

Meek was convicted on firearms and drug charges back in 2008. He also received a two-to-four-year prison sentence for violating his probation a decade later. Since then, Meek has become a vocal advocate for criminal justice reform, launching an organization called the REFORM Alliance in 2019.
