AceShowbiz - Raquel Leviss' family finally took action as they've been facing hate due to her affair with Tom Sandoval. The "Vanderpump Rules" star's representative told TMZ that her family turned to the FBI after receiving death threats.
According to the rep, Leviss' family has been getting "violent and graphic" threats both online and over the phone. The haters allegedly vowed to tear the reality star "limb from limb." Another caller, in the meantime, reportedly threatened to "un-alive and dump the body."
Addressing the claim, a spokesperson for the FBI told the outlet, "FBI neither confirms nor denies investigations." The spokesperson added, "Obviously, we review all allegations reported to us and encourage anyone who believes their life is in imminent danger to call 911."
Bravo also weighed in on the matter. "The threats being made on social media are appalling. Bravo strongly condemns this behavior and urges people to stop," the network stated.
Leviss herself has been staying at a mental health facility after her affair with Sandoval, who was dating Ariana Madix at the time, was exposed in March. Leviss has also issued a public apology to Ariana.
"I want to apologise for my actions and my choices to Ariana, my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and must own my actions," she said at the time. "I deeply regret hurting Ariana."
"I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships," the reality star continued. "I am taking steps to understand my behaviour and make healthier choices."
