AceShowbiz - Raquel Leviss can now move forward with her lawsuit against Tom Sandoval. The "Vanderpump Rules" star, who is suing her ex and Ariana Madix for eavesdropping, revenge porn and invasion of privacy, has been granted rights to continue her legal action.

According to Rolling Stone, a Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge ruled that Leviss' claims that her intimate FaceTime conversations with Sandoval were adequately considered "contemporaneous" and "confidential." She claimed that she was aware that she could be recorded but she didn't expect her then fling would save the footage and make copies.

"We are pleased with the Court's order, which recognises that recording someone in sexually compromising ways without her consent violates California law," Leviss' attorney, Bryan Freedman, told PEOPLE in a statement. "We will be moving forward aggressively to vindicate Rachel's rights."

Mark Geragos, Leviss' lawyer, also told the publication that "if Sandoval's illegal recording isn't an invasion of privacy, then there is nothing that is private," agreeing with the judge's ruling.

In February, Leviss filed a lawsuit against Tom and Ariana as she accuses the former romantic partners of eavesdropping, revenge porn, invasion of privacy and "intentional infliction of emotional distress." Both Tom and Ariana had countered Rachel in April with Madix citing California's anti-SLAPP law in her motion.

Meanwhile, Leviss' lawyers, Mark Geragos and Bryan Freedman, called Ariana's motion "laughable" in an interview with ET on Monday. "The only thing more laughable than Ariana's motion is her fairytale account of how she discovered the relationship from Tom's phone. Meanwhile, we look forward to cross examining her on her declaration, as we have irrefutable evidence that the videos were distributed," they said.

The lawsuit comes after the Scandoval drama in which Sandoval was caught cheating on his nine-year-long girlfriend Madix, after she discovered an intimate video of Raquel on his phone.
