AceShowbiz - Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have made a rare joint public appearance at the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival, putting split rumor to rest. The Tony Award-winning actress stepped out for the premiere of her new film "Asteroid City" in the South of France on Tuesday, May 23, with her husband on hand to support her.

The pair put on an affectionate display while posing together in front of photographers on the red carpet. The "Black Widow" star placed her hand on the "Saturday Night Live" star's chest as he wrapped his arm around her waist.

The duo also stared lovingly at each other as the two-time Oscar nominee sweetly touched the cheek of her husband with her manicured fingers. The funnyman, meanwhile, looked excited as he talked to his wife while they were walking down the stairs.

For the event, Scarlett looked chic in a custom Prada gown which featured white sparkly spaghetti straps, a bubblegum pink fitted bodice and a floor length skirt. The back of the dress gave a glimpse of her back tattoos, which include a stem of roses and sleeping lamb.

The 38-year-old completed her look with pointy earrings from David Yurman, chrome pumps, scarlet red lips, rosy cheeks and subtle eyeshadow. Her blonde locks were parted down the middle and worn in loose waves.

The "Weekend Update" co-anchor, meanwhile, looked dashing in navy tuxedo with matching bow tie. He finished the look with a gold watch and ring.

Scarlett and Colin's rare red carpet appearance at Cannes comes nearly two months after it was speculated that there was trouble in paradise in their marriage. Back in March, the "Jojo Rabbit" star appeared to ditch her wedding ring when photographed out and about solo in New York City after Radar Online reported that the pair were living "separate lives" amid their busy work schedules.

"Colin's always had a reputation for being a flirt," an insider additionally told Life & Style in 2022. "Scarlett prides herself on having a modern attitude toward marriage, claiming it doesn't bother her, but she also doesn't want to be embarrassed."

However, her rep already shut down the split rumor at the time, calling it "BS."

The "Asteroid City" premiere was also attended by Scarlett's co-stars, including Adrien Brody, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Maya Hawke, Matt Dillon, Fisher Stevens and Steve Carell. Tom, who came with his wife Rita Wilson, was caught having a heated exchange with an employee at the event.
