AceShowbiz - Ariana Madix is not going anywhere. Despite being recently spotted moving boxes out of her and ex Tom Sandoval's shared house in Los Angeles, it turns out that Ariana faked the move out for sponcon stunt.

On Monday, May 22, the "Vanderpump Rules" star tricked fans into thinking that she moved out of the house by sharing a picture outside her house alongside packed cardboard boxes. "Ready to dip out," so she wrote. Hours later, however, she posted another short video in which she revealed she staged the move for a sponsored brand partnership.

"I'm moving up not out, well not yet at least," the reality star teased. "It's time to get my financial house in order. I will have more to share with you very, very soon."

Financial services company SoFi confirmed to PEOPLE that the move was a "stunt." A rep for Ariana additionally said that she is still living with the Tom Tom bar co-owner.

Ariana and Tom had a messy split after it was revealed that Tom had an affair with fellow "Vanderpump Rules" cast member Raquel Leviss when he was still dating Ariana. Despite the breakup, the former couple continued to live together in the property for several months.

During her appearance on "Today with Hoda & Jenna" on May 18, the Bravolebrity shared her desire to sell the house, which she and Tom purchased and remodeled together. "I've been on the phone with a real estate agent," she said at the time. "And I would like to sell that house and move somewhere, own my own place on my own, and start my new life."

Ariana shared a similar sentiment in an episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen". "My plan is to sell the house. I want my money out of that house as quickly as possible and I want to move on," she revealed.

Following the split, Ariana was rumored to be dating Daniel Wai, whom she was seen kissing at Coachella. As for Tom, he was linked to Texas-based influencer Karlee Hale following his alleged split from Raquel.
