During her appearance 'Pillow and Beer', the 'Southern Charm' star recalls the time when the former MLB player, who was still engaged to the singer at the time, slid into her DMs back in 2020.

AceShowbiz - Madison LeCroy recalled her affair with Alex Rodriguez. During her appearance on Austen Kroll's podcast "Pillow and Beer", Madison shared that she was beyond shocked when the former MLB player, who was still engaged to Jennifer Lopez at the time, slid into her DMs back in 2020.

"I'm being f**king catfished," Madison, who was actually dating Austen at the time of the scandal, told the host. "The dude who's dating [Jennifer Lopez] is not in my DMs right now."

The "Southern Charm" star went on to say, "I told [Alex], I said, 'If you're looking for a side chick,' which clearly he was, 'it wasn't gonna be me.' I'm wifey material." Madison also revealed that A-Rod struck up a conversation by asking what gyms in her neighborhood were open amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

"He kept on FaceTiming you ad nauseam," Austen interjected. "You were like, 'This motherf**ker's FaceTimed me three or four times today.' And then he, like, got mad at Madison because she didn't answer when she was on the boat or something. And she was like, 'I'm not at your beck and call.' "

Both Austen and Madison decided to "call his bluff" and ask Alex to set her up with a friend. "He was like, 'What are you looking for?' I was like, 'A kind, family-oriented,' like I mean, all the things that he wasn't clearly, and that was the end of that," the 32-year-old star said. Austen, however, said that Alex never set her up with a friend.

Alex's spokesman Ron Berkowitz reacted to Madison's claims after the podcast was released. "Her 15 minutes of fame are up, and she is trying to get a 16th minute," he told Page Six. "Please stop wasting everyone's time with these false narratives. They were false two years ago and continue to be false."

Alex's affair with Madison first made headlines in March 2021. Madison's "Southern Charm" co-star Danni Baird made claims regarding the reality star exchanging messages with the former Yankees star.

When Alex and J.Lo split, Madison said that she "wished them the best" to Page Six. The Bravo personality also claimed that she played no part in the singer and A-Rod's breakup. "I had nothing to do with why they split, and I think everybody knows that. And if you don't know that, then that's just ridiculous, like, let's be honest," she stressed in a statement to Us Weekly.
