AceShowbiz - Yung Miami made her debut on "BMF" only to receive backlash from Internet users. Following her appearance in the Friday, March 10 episode of the popular crime series, the City Girls raptress took to Twitter to defend herself from the trolls.
In the episode, Miami played the role of Deanna Washington. In one scene that went viral, Demetrius Flenory Jr. a.k.a. Lil Meech's Big Meech could be seen informing her of the death of her husband. Miami's Deanna later started crying and even slapped Meech at one point. Fans, meanwhile, were not impressed by Miami's fake crying as they found it hilarious.
"Caresha had me screaming on BMF last night. She's mad funny," one viewer wrote on Twitter. Miami, whose real name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee, caught wind of the diss and replied, "It wasn't funny lol," adding a side eye emoji.
More users trolled the star with someone saying, "Yung Miami need to stick to caresha please CAUSE CARESHA PLSSSS." Someone else added, "I loveeeee Yung Miami, but that acting was very much trash. Understand she's a well known rapper, but baby girl needs acting lessons."
Another critic tweeted, "This scene in #bmf may be the worse acting I've ever seen. This s**t look like a #tubi movie." Referring to cast member LaLa Anthony, one other said, "Please give actors/actresses the chance to be on this show. No more guest star rappers that can't act. We already let it slide with bad acting Lala but that Yung Miami s**t is not it."
Despite the backlash, Miami suggested that she wouldn't let the hate phase her. "The more they hate me the more opportunities come!! It's only the beginning for me!" the South Florida femcee said.
Miami wasn't the only rapper to appear on "BMF", which is executive produced by 50 Cent. Prior to this, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kash Doll and Lil Zane also appeared on the hit show.
