AceShowbiz - Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are seemingly getting closer to taking their relationship to the next level. The former wife of Scottie Pippen and the son of Michael Jordan were seen checking out a diamond ring in New York City.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the new couple was seen looking happy while shopping in New York's Diamond District on Tuesday night, February 28. The duo were seen making some purchases in the world's largest shopping district for all sizes and shapes of diamonds and fine jewelry before they held hands on their way back to the car.
For their date, Larsa showcased her curves in a figure-hugging black dress. The 48-year-old reality star also wore a long furry jacket and open-toed high heels. In the meantime, the 32-year-old former college basketball player sported a charcoal gray Louis Vuitton jacket and dark-wash jeans.
Marcus was every inch the gentleman as he held onto Larsa's shopping bags as they strolled down the sidewalk together. While it is unclear what the lovebirds were shopping for, many couples flock to the over 4,000 wholesalers and retail jewelers in the area to shop for engagement rings.
Their sighting comes the same week Larsa revealed how they fell for each other despite knowing that Scottie and M.J. don't get along. "I personally don't really care about what other people ... I live my truth, I'm happy," so "The Real Housewives of Miami" star told Tamron Hall in the February 28 episode of "The Tamron Hall Show".
Larsa later emphasized she never "planned" to date Marcus and that it's something that "just happened" since they continued to hang out in the same social circle. "You know, I feel like I live my truth. I'm happy. I feel like we get along. He's my best friend," she shared, "Yeah, I feel like we have a lot in common. I didn't plan it [dating Marcus] like that. It wasn't like it was planned like that. I think we were just together a lot with our friends and it just so happened."
Elsewhere during the interview, Larsa also addressed backlash over her 16-year age gap relationship with Marcus. "Age doesn't determine your level of maturity," the Bravolebrity explained.
Indeed, Larsa has been facing online backlash, was even called "predator," since she made her relationship with Marcus Instagram official in January. At the time, she posted a photo of her posing with her beau in front of a giant floral arrangement in the shape of M.J.'s iconic No. 23 jersey. Despite the criticism, it's reported that Larsa and Marcus are planning on having a baby together.
