AceShowbiz - Larsa Pippen has finally spilled the details of her relationship with Marcus Jordan. In a new interview with Tamron Hall, the former wife of Scottie Pippen talked about dating Michael Jordan's son despite knowing Scottie and M.J. didn't get along.
In the Tuesday, February 28 episode of "The Tamron Hall Show", the 48-year-old reality star explained why she decided to pursue a romance given the fact her ex-husband has a feud with M.J. "That's how Scottie feels. He has a right to the way he feels," she told Tamron, "I personally don't really care about what other people ... I live my truth, I'm happy."
Larsa later emphasized she never "planned" to date Marcus but it's something that "just happened" since they continued to hangout in the same social circle. "You know, I feel like I live my truth. I'm happy. I feel like we get along. He's my best friend," she shared, "Yeah, I feel like we have a lot in common. I didn't plan it [dating Marcus] like that. It wasn't like it was planned like that. I think we were just together a lot with our friends and it just so happened."
"Everyone's fine. When you're an adult, your parents just want to see you happy," so "The Real Housewives of Miami" cast member shared, noting she's received his folks' blessing. "We've spent holidays together. We're in a great place."
Tamron then asked Larsa what her former husband thinks of her relationship, to which she responded, "Do you feel like you should ask your ex about your future love interest?" She further elaborated, "The only conversations we have are based on our kids. I don't ask him who he's dating, he doesn't ask me who I'm dating."
"As long as my kids are happy ... my kids love Marcus. We travel together, my kids really enjoy spending time with him," the Illinois native noted. "I feel like I'm in a great place and that's the most important thing."
Elsewhere during the interview, Larsa also addressed backlash over her 16-year age gap relationship with Marcus. "Age doesn't determine your level of maturity," the Bravo fan favorite explained.
Larsa and Marcus, who first sparked romance rumors in September last year, made their love Instagram official in January by posting a photo of her posing with her beau in front of a giant floral arrangement in the shape of M.J.'s iconic No. 23 jersey.
After making their love Instagram official, Larsa often posted photos of the couple. However, fans apparently were not happy seeing the loved-up posts, with one labeling the Bravolebrity "predator."
Despite the backlash, it's reported that Larsa and Marcus are planning on having a baby together. "Larsa is 48 years young, and she wants to have another child, before it's too late," a source spilled to Media Take Out, "Larsa visited a fertility doctor and she still has enough eggs to have a successful pregnancy."
