AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik has totally moved on. In a new photo he uploaded on social media, the "Pillowtalk" hitmaker appeared to have covered up a tattoo of his ex Gigi Hadid's eyes on his chest.
The said picture showed the former One Direction member flashing his tattooed chest while posing in front of a microphone, seemingly hinting that he's working on his fourth studio album. In the image, the supermodel's eyes are no longer visible.
Zayn got Gigi's eyes tattooed on his body back in 2018. At the time, Gigi was the one who debuted it on her Instagram page with a Boomerang of the crooner dancing on his 25th birthday, January 12. However, Gigi got slammed by Internet trolls who accused her of seeking attention.
Gigi later wrote via Instagram, "You guys can call it promo but I just post about my boyfriend like anyone else." The model went on stressing, "I don't need his follow [Zayn didn't follow her back at the time] -- my eyes are tattooed to his chest."
When Zayn and Gigi broke up in March 2018, fans trolled Zayn for, once again, inking himself with a girlfriend's name or face and then ending the relationship. The "Dusk Till Dawn" singer also dated Little Mix's Perrie Edwards and had her name tattooed on his arm. One Twitter user mocked him and wrote, "ZAYN GOT PERRIE TATTOOED ON HIMSELF AND GIGI'S EYES ON HIS CHEST AND NONE OF THE RELATIONSHIPS LASTED... ZAYN SWEETIE."
Zayn and Gigi reportedly first started dating in November 2015 and ever since then, it's been a roller coaster of cute Instagram posts, sound bites and breakup rumors. Then in September 2020, the now-exes welcomed their first child, daughter Khai. They called it quits again in October 2021 after Zayn allegedly got into altercation with Gigi's mom Yolanda Hadid.
Nearly a year after her split from Zayn, Gigi was linked to Leonardo DiCaprio. However, a source recently spilled that the two are "not serious," adding, "Gigi's priority is her daughter." The insider added that they "like each other very much, neither one wants anything serious right now."
