The 'Bobby I Love You, Purrr' star also urges people not to feel ashamed to wear the Spanish luxury brand after it was accused of sexualizing children in its latest campaign.

AceShowbiz - Bobby Lytes is not going to feel ashamed for wearing Balenciaga amid its recent controversy. The "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" star penned a lengthy message on Instagram Story, explaining why he won't burn his Balenciaga collection when some others did after the luxury brand was accused of sexualizing children in its latest campaign.

"Im not burning no damn Balenciaga," Bobby wrote to his followers on Friday, December 9. "Im not about to sit on Beyonce's internet and lie to y'all and say that I denounce shopping there either."

He continued, "The allegations against the brand are serious in deed. And I can't wrap my head around to understand how all this can even be a thing (it's horrible). I will never agree with any type of abuse to children and in this matter I understand those that are outraged by this scandal. Especially parents."

Despite that, the "Bobby I Love You, Purrr" star believed that people shouldn't ashamed of wearing Balenciaga if the clothes were bought prior to the scandal. "I speak for myself and thousands of other humans who are innocent when I say that we shouldn't feel ashamed to wear the brand if it's in out closet already," he noted. "I think some people are taking this to the next level and those same people have never ever step foot in Balenciaga. I find it a little extreme."

After Bobby's message was reposted by Hollywood Unlocked, some Internet users quickly blasted the TV personality. "If this had anything to do with LGBTQ people he would be singing a different tune … hmm," one commenter wrote. Another person added, "But when it comes to the LGBTQ+ community & their problems they expect people to stand with them….."

"if u broke and spent your last on balenciaga, just say that," someone else mocked Bobby. Another user fumed, "Basically he doesn't care bc he isn't affected or offended by this, most likely bc he isn't a parent. But he and others SHOULD be ashamed that they continue to support a brand that sexually exploited children in their ad campaign. But if the LGTBQIA community were being disrespected or discriminated against in a designer's ad, he would expect everyone to cancel them and he would be calling out others in the industry who would do what he's doing now."

Some people, however, agreed with Bobby. "I get what he's saying. It's easy to cancel and not support when you own zero and invested $0 on the products. He's choosing to wear what he already owns and refuses to purchase any more. Understood," a supporter noted.

"AGREED ! I wouldn't burn my s**t," one other penned. One person, meanwhile, found Bobby's post relatable when it comes to Kanye West's situation. "I'm sorry I 100% agree !! Kanye been wilding acting crazy in these street but im not throwing away none of my Yeezy !!!!" the person commented.
