The professional boxer-and-YouTube star is scheduled to fight the UFC legend at Showtime Pay-Per-View event from Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on October 29.

AceShowbiz - Jake Paul often makes unique bets with his opponents before their fights. This time, however, the professional boxer and YouTube star's tattoo challenge was rejected by UFC legend Anderson Silva ahead of their boxing fight.

Paul and Silva will collide atop an October 29 Showtime Pay-Per-View event from Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. During their kickoff press on Monday afternoon, September 12 at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles, Paul declared that he'll get a spider tattoo if he loses.

However, Silva quickly stated that he wants no part of the tattoo bet. "No no no stop, let me tell them. You don't need to get a spider tattoo, I know you're my fan don't worry," the 48-year-old UFC star said.

"Stop, come on. I'm your fan too, I'm a big fan but I hate tattoos bro," Silva further told Paul. "I hate them, I don't have tattoos. My kids have tattoos and I say 'why do you have that' and they say 'dad you need to get one' and I say 'no no, stop.' "

Upon learning of Silva's rejection, Paul was momentarily at a loss for words while honoring his opponent's beliefs. "I'll come up with a different bet, none that doesn't have anything to do with tattoos," so Paul promised. "We'll come up with it during fight week."

A similar bet was made with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley ahead of his first fight with Paul last August 29 in Cleveland, Ohio. Paul won by split decision, which left Woodley (0-2) on the hook to get a tattoo reading, "I Love Jake Paul," which he had etched on the inside of his middle finger.

Woodley satisfied the terms of their bet ahead of their first fight, prompting Paul to grant him a rematch. It came as a backup plan, as Woodley replaced an injured Tommy Fury last December. Paul won via sixth-round knockout, leaving him with the honor of knocking out every opponent he's faced after going the distance with Woodley four months prior.
