Nearly three months after confirming his split from the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker, the Spanish soccer player was caught on camera holding hands with his new girlfriend when attending a wedding together on the Costa Brava in Catalonia.
In photos published by Daily Mail, the 35-year-old hunk and PR student Clara Chia Marti walked side-by-side at the event. One photo, meanwhile, showed the pair wrapping their hands around each other while smiling happily.
For the occasion, Gerard opted to go with a navy suit which he teamed with a crisp white open-collared shirt and black shoes. His companion, in the meantime, went braless beneath a multicolored striped maxi dress.
This was not the first time Gerard and Clara were spotted together. The new couple was seen at the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia earlier this month. However, the images left Shakira "very angry" because he broke an alleged deal to keep new relationships quiet for a year.

As for Gerard and Shakira, they confirmed their breakup in June after 11 years together. "We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we request respect for (our) privacy. Thank you for your understanding," they said in a joint statement.
Split rumors surrounding the two emerged after Spanish news outlet El Periodico reported that the footballer is living in his house in Barcelona again, away from her and their children. The musician also seemingly hinted at the split in the lyrics to her newest song with Rauw Alejandro, "Te Felecito".
"For completing you I broke into pieces/ They warned me, but I did not pay attention," the singer, who shares 9-year-old Milan and 7-year-old Sasha with her ex, sings. "I realized that yours is false/ It was the drop that overflowed the glass/ Do not tell me you're sorry, that seems sincere, but I know you well and I know you lie."
