AceShowbiz - Jodie Sweetin is apparently nursing a minor injury after being shoved to the ground during an abortion right protest over the weekend. The actress was seen with a bruised arm when she was spotted out for the first time since the demonstration.

The "Full House" alum was photographed on Monday, June 27, outside her Southern California home. In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the Stephanie Tanner depicter on the ABC series and its Netflix spin-off had some discoloration on her right bicep, which was visible as she was sporting a sleeveless top.

Jodie wore a green tank top, jeans and sunglasses when arriving at her home that day. She completed her casual look with a pair of stylish sunglasses, a pair of blue slip-ons and a turquoise bag while carrying a beverage.

Jodie was thrown to the ground during a peaceful protest against the Roe v. Wade overturn on Saturday, June 25. After being hurled several feet, she managed to stand up seconds later and continue to protest for a person's right to a safe abortion in response to the Supreme Court's decision to reverse the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling.

Following the incident, Jodie assured that she would continue voicing her thought on the matter until the public's outcry is heard. "I'm extremely proud of the hundreds of people who showed up yesterday (June 25) to exercise their First Amendment rights and take immediate action to peacefully protest the giant injustices that have been delivered from our Supreme Court," she told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday. "Our activism will continue until our voices are heard and action is taken. This will not deter us, we will continue fighting for our rights. We are not free until all of us are free."

Recalling the incident, she shared, "It was such a crazy day, and there was so much happening, but I was behind the police line. I was walking back and I was walking forward and one of the officers grabbed the handle on the back of my backpack as I was walking, actually threw me down and that was what you see in the video."

The 40-year-old, however, stressed that she wasn't the only one who felt police brutality during the demonstration. "I have other videos of that day of other officers trying to steal women's bikes, who were pushing young women, 15-, 16-year-old women to the ground, hitting them with a baton," she said. "There was a lot going on that day, so it was not just me."
