The 'We Don't Talk Anymore' hitmaker unleashes the visuals just days after he teased the new track with a playful TikTok video in which he pretended to call the K-Pop star on the phone.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Puth has finally released "Left and Right" ft. Jungkook along with its official music video. Arriving on June 24, the colorful visuals show the "We Don't Talk Anymore" hitmaker and the BTS (Bangtan Boys) member pining over their past love.

The clip shows the 30-year-old speaking to who appears to be his therapist as he laments about not being able to move on. "Ever since the-the day you-you went away/ How to erase your body from out my brain," he sings.

In the chorus, Charlie and Jungkook sing, "Memories follow me left and right/ I can feel you over here/ I can feel you over here/ You take up every corner of my mind." They continue, "Your love stays with me day and night/ I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here/ You take up every corner of my mind/ What ya gon' do now?"

Charlie announced his collaboration with Jungkook on June 16. At that time, he shared a playful TikTok video in which he pretended to call the K-Pop star on the phone. He later asked Jungkook to sing a snippet of the new song.

"Hey man, what does it sound like when you sing 'Memories follow me left and right'?" Charlie asked. In response, Jungkook replied, "Sure, that's easy," before proceeding to sing.

The single is the third song to be released from "Charlie" following "Light Switch" and "That's Hilarious". The release date of the album has yet to be set, but it will be dropped later this year.

About Jungkook, he and his BTS bandmates Jin, Suga, V, RM, Jimin and J-Hope recently shocked fans with a hiatus plan. However, their management team has clarified the group "will remain active."

"The group will remain active as a team while taking individual journey to further achieve personal growth," a release from their agency HYBE stressed. "[They] will allow themselves to express their individuality through the release of solo albums and collaborations with other artists."

HYBE's parent company BIGHIT MUSIC added, "BTS now starts a new chapter with new solo projects as well as group projects. Members will take this time to achieve personal growth through various new activities, and we expect it to further strengthen the foundation for the group's long-run as a team. BIGHIT MUSIC will actively support the artists."
