The 'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta' star is asking his former spouse to 'forgive' him and 'allow' him to 'rebuild' their 'trust' in a message he posts on Mother's Day.

AceShowbiz - Stevie J is regretting his past actions against Faith Evans. The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star begged his ex-wife to take him back after apologizing for humiliating her in a Mother's Day message.

Making use of his Instagram account on Sunday, May 8, the 50-year-old DJ posted a photo of him standing next to his former spouse. In the caption, he wrote, "Faith Rene Jordan I've hurt you, disrespected you and humiliated you in front of the world. From this day forward I promise to listen to your feelings and be more delicate with your heart."

"I also promise to build you up even more & to communicate daily with you, respect you and love on you until you're as happy as you were when we got married," Stevie added. "I've learned my lesson and I NEVER want to live without you because God knows I'm a better man with you." He later asked Faith to give their relationship another chance, "I'm asking you to find it in your heart to forgive me and allow me to rebuild our trust," before concluding, "Happy Mothers Day x I love you."

Stevie and Faith exchanged their vows in July 2018 in a Las Vegas hotel room surrounded by friends and family. After three years of marriage, the Grammy Award-winning producer filed for divorce.

Responding to Stevie's divorce papers, which he filed in November 2021, Faith asked the courts to deny the Grammy-winning producer's request for spousal support. Additionally, she also asked to keep her assets from before and since the marriage, including "all property acquired prior to marriage, by gift, inheritance, or devise and after the date of separation."

However, less than a week after the news of their divorce broke, Faith shared a series of Instagram videos from a beach trip with Stevie. The "Soon as I Get Home" singer captioned the post, "Get us free, bruh!"

During an interview in December, Faith revealed that she and Stevie were still spending time together. "Stevie actually just came in and gave me this glass of champagne," the 48-year-old songstress said, "I'm pretty sure he will be here for the holidays."
