A few days earlier, Kim Kardashian was cleared of defamation claim made by the former star of 'Rob and Chyna' as the judge ruled that 'no statement' was 'alleged to be defamatory.'

AceShowbiz - The Kardashian-Jenner family has come out victorious in their fierce legal battle against Blac Chyna. The reality TV family has successfully defeated the former "Rob & Chyna" star, who sought over $100 million in damages in her defamation lawsuit against the famous family.

TMZ reported on Monday, May 2 that the jury has decided no damages will be awarded to Blac as they didn't find any of the Kardashians' attempts to cancel the second season of "Rob & Chyna" with their influence. However, the jury found that Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner acted to protect their own economic interest.

The jury also found out that Kris, Kim, Kylie and Khloe Kardashian knew that Blac had a contract with the E! network. The jury later pointed out that they didn't find that their conduct prevented Blac from performing under that contract.

A few days earlier, Kim was dropped from the defamation suit. On Friday, April 29, it's reported that the judge ruled "no statement" made by the SKIMS founder was "alleged to be defamatory" against Blac. The court also agreed that there's "no evidence" to support that Kim had a "responsible part" in defaming Blac.

Previously, the Kardashian-Jenner clan's attorney, Michael Rhodes, tried to get the case dismissed altogether, arguing that Blac's claims were "absurd." The lawyer also argued in legal documents that Blac, born Angela Renee White, has provided "no documentary evidence, economic analysis, or expert testimony" in court to support the lawsuit going forward.

During the trial, former President of E! Entertainment, Adam Stotsky, testified that the option for season 2 of "Rob & Chyna" show was not officially picked up though there were press releases sent out on December 14, 2016, the same day as the fight, that the show would be returning. According to Adam, the producers decided against picking up season 2 because it wasn't the show that was originally pitched to him.

"We had a practice of announcing shows all the time so fans of the show will remain engaged. Shows also get canceled," Adam explained. He was also asked by Kardashians' attorney Michael about the reality TV family's attempt to "kill" season two of "Rob & Chyna".

Adam then smiled and replied, "With all due respect, they don't have the authority to actually do that." He insisted, "We cannot produce a show called 'Rob & Chyna' if there is not a couple called Rob and Chyna."

In 2017, Blac filed a lawsuit against the whole Kardashian-Jenner family, including Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, over claims of assault, battery, domestic violence, defamation and interference with prospective economic relations. The 33-year-old reality star, who shares 5-year-old daughter Dream with Rob Kardashian, accused her ex of being an "abuser" and his family of being "media predators" who pulled the plug on the former couple's show.
