The SKIMS founder has been cleared of defamation claim made by the former 'Rob and Chyna' star as the judge rules that 'no statement' was 'alleged to be defamatory.'

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian is scoring a victory in a legal battle between the Kardashian-Jenner family and Blac Chyna. The SKIMS founder has been dropped from the defamation lawsuit filed by the model against her reality TV family following the cancellation of "Rob & Chyna".

On Friday, April 29, Page Six reported that the judge ruled that "no statement" made by Kim was "alleged to be defamatory" against Blac, who is seeking more than $100 million in damages. The court also agreed that there's "no evidence" to support that Kim had a "responsible part" in defaming Blac.

The ruling was based on the lawyers' arguments, the court record and papers from the council. Even though the defamation claim against Kim was dismissed, she is potentially still on the hook for alleged intentional interference with a contract claim about the short-lived "Rob & Chyna" series.

Nearly a week-and-half into the trial, the Kardashian-Jenner clan's attorney, Michael Rhodes, tried to get the case dismissed altogether, arguing that Blac's claims were "absurd." The lawyer also argued in legal documents that Blac, born Angela Renee White, has provided "no documentary evidence, economic analysis, or expert testimony" in court to support the lawsuit going forward.

"Before trial began, these claims were absurd," the lawyer wrote at the time. "Now that [Blac] has testified in her entirety, and has no additional testimony or evidence to offer on her damages, Defendants respectfully submit that entering such an instruction would be a vastly inadequate remedy. [Blac]'s unsupported and wildly speculative claims for damages must not be allowed to go to the jury."

On April 26, Kim told the court that she didn't want to work in "a toxic environment" with Blac when testifying about refusing to film episodes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" with the 33-year-old model. "Why would we film with her on our show? It was our show and she's not a family member," Kim wondered.

Blac's attorney, who accused the Kardashians family of "gaslighting during the trial," pushed back, "You were informing producers if [Blac] was on 'KUWTK', you weren't going to film anymore?" Kim later fiercely stressed, "They could film what they want. We don't have the power, as you have been insinuating."

"I was just expressing that I will be taking a break from filming to assess how I'm feeling. I will not go to work in a toxic environment," Kim went on noting. "I can only control what I can do, which is to take a break."

Amid the legal proceedings, Kim received public support from her boyfriend Pete Davidson. On April 28, "The Kardashians" star was spotted with the "Saturday Night Live" cast member at the Los Angeles courthouse. The couple was even caught sharing a kiss in the hallway after closing arguments.
