Kelly Stafford cannot 'stop crying' over the passing of her beloved pet which she deemed her 'first baby,' as she shares a series of posts in remembrance of it on her social media account.

AceShowbiz - It is never easy to say goodbye. Kelly Stafford had to bid farewell to one member of her family forever. Just days after Easter celebration, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford spilled to fans that she was left devastated by the death of 13-year-old family dog, Marley.

On Monday, April 25, Kelly made use of her Instagram account to upload a series of posts in remembrance of the pet she deemed her "first baby girl." Along with a photo of her laying next to the canine, she wrote, "Why is it such a surprise and so hard? Dogs aren't supposed to outlive us, we know it when we make them part of our family. So why does it feel like it's never coming?"

"I woke up this morning without a face in front of me that I've been used to waking up to for the past 13 years. The room didn't feel as warm or cozy," she continued lamenting over the loss. "I sat up and saw the empty dog bed at my side and the tears started rolling again."

Kelly also shared how Marley was always there for her during the hard times. When her husband Matthew left for the NFL, the dog "filled Matthew's side of the bed." She recalled, "She became my pillow, not just when sleeping, but also the pillow I used that collected all my tears.. her fur was soaked far too often by my tears, but she never seemed to mind."

"I remember going through infertility struggles and it was like she knew every time my period came… she would just come lay her head on my lap and let me cry on her," the mother of four went on sharing more on how significant Marley was for her.

Expressing her disbelief over the heartbreaking loss, she further stated, "I know it shouldn't be a surprise, but I still can't believe she is gone. I'm devastated and this house just doesn't feel as full as it once did."

Kelly wrapped up her post by expressing her gratitude to Marley. "Thank you Marley, for loving me unconditionally no matter how many mistakes I made. Thank you for filling my life with love and joy for the past 13 years," she wrote, "I love you so much and miss you more than you could ever understand."

In a following post, Kelly uploaded another photo of her with Marley. She noted in the caption, "Before your sisters came, you were what made us a family. You were always there for me."

She proceeded to put out pictures of Marley and her daughters, capturing the memories of her girls shared with the pooch. "And once your sisters came, the only thing that changed is the amount of love you received and the amount of love you gave away.. You were the best dog," she wrote in the caption. "We love you marley. Rest In Peace baby girl. Say hello to champ for us."

Lastly, Kelly uploaded a 3-minute video on Instagram highlighting Marley's life with Britt Nicole's "The Sun Is Rising" playing in the background. In its caption, she confessed, "I can't stop crying. This song is what I feel like what marley has said every time I was hurting and crying on her… I feel like she's looking over me saying the same. Miss you sweet girl."

Friends and followers quickly marched to show their support for Kelly. In the comment section of her posts, many of her celebrity friends, including Taylor Lautner and Olivia Munn, offered their condolences to her and her family.
