Lizzo Surprises Crowd With 'I Will Survive' Cover During Harry Style's Set at Coachella Weekend 2

Also making a surprise appearance at the Indio, California festival is Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar, who joins his cousin Baby Keem to perform two of their recent collaborations.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles has welcomed another guest artist at the 2022 Coachella. During Harry's headlining set at weekend two of the Indio, California festival, singer/raptress Lizzo made a surprise appearance as she greeted the crowd with an "I Will Survive" cover.

Rocking a hot pink outfit covered with a faux fur coat, Lizzo took the Friday, April 22 stage by belting out Gloria Gaynor's beloved classic. Harry, who brought out Shania Twain during his Coachella debut on April 15, later harmonized for some parts of the song while showing off his dancing skills.

Not stopping there, the pair took part in another duet of One Direction's megahit, "What Makes You Beautiful". At the end of their performance, the "Truth Hurts" hitmaker and the "As It Was" crooner shared a sweet hug.

Following the gig, Lizzo shared a short clip from the show. Alongside the video, she gushed, "Thanks @coachella … last night was amazing- @harrystyles is a treasure, gods gift to rock n roll, the light that comes from him is real and infinite."

"He makes being on stage in front of hundreds n thousands easy, cus it's w a friend," the 33-year-old, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, further raved. "His team is incredible- and baby them Gucci coats….?!?? Thank you H, like u said 'until next time.' "

Lizzo was not the only musician who hyped up the Friday festival with her surprise appearance. Fans were delighted after Kendrick Lamar showed up during Baby Keem's set. The cousins entertained the audience with "Family Ties" and "Vent", two of the their three collaborations from Keem's 2021 debut album "The Melodic Blue".

It marked Kendrick's first live performance after announcing the release date of his long-awaited album, "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers". The Grammy-winning hip-hop star divulged in a statement on his website that the project will arrive on May 13.
