The 'Can't Help But Wait' crooner is accused of sexually assaulting Megan Johnson during an event he hosted at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut in 2013.

AceShowbiz - Trey Songz has received new allegations of sexual assault. The "Can't Help But Wait" singer has been named in a $5 million settlement demand letter after he allegedly exposed and groped a woman's breast.

In the letter, Megan Johnson claimed that one of her friends was taking a picture of her in the VIP section of an event, which the musician hosted at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut in August 2013, when the 37-year-old singer came up from behind, "ripping [her] bikini top from [her] chest-grabbing and then exposing [her] bare breast." The woman went on saying that the musician exclaimed "degrading chant, 'Titties in the open,' " four different times.

"Since the assault, Ms. Johnson has engaged in self harm, suffered severe emotional distress, including fear, anxiety, humiliation, depression, and other physical injuries, and damages (both economic and noneconomic)," read the demand letter. "Her injuries are substantial, continuing, and permanent."

In a video obtained by TMZ on Thursday, April 21, Trey could be seen exposing Megan's breast before she quickly pulled up her bathing suit top in embarrassment. Though Megan appeared to laugh it off on camera, her attorney insisted that she's humiliated and the incident caused lasting damage.

According to her lawyer, Megan decided to file the case after learning about Trey's sexual assault case in Las Vegas, for which he was cleared and no criminal charges were filed. She is now seeking a settlement of over $5 million and has threatened litigation if Trey doesn't respond by May 5.

Social media users were quick to share their thoughts after Trey became trending on Twitter following the latest allegations. "I believe all the allegations against trey songz he definitely did everything he's been accused of," one person opined. A separate person tweeted, "Black men please don't defend Trey Songz you don't have to go to bat for every brother in trouble especially one who's been accused of the s**t Trey been doing."

A third said that the "Trey Songz incident is just another result of celebrity idolization." The said person added, "He thought that s**t was cool bc he was a famous R&B singer & thought that any woman would feel lucky to be around him & touched by him. Everyone isn't your fan and every woman ain't a groupie. Dumb a**." Someone else wondered, "When they gone lock Trey Songz up tho? They gone let him have a 30 year career like R. Kelly did before they lock him up? Are they waiting for more victims?"

Megan is the fourth woman to accuse Trey of sexual assault over the past few months. Basketball star Dylan Gonzales came forward in January to claim Trey raped her nine years ago. Earlier this month, however, the investigation was concluded with police deciding that no criminal charges will be filed unless new evidence comes to light.

In February, a Jane Doe filed a $20 million suit against Trey. In the paperwork, the accuser called him a "brutal rapist" after their alleged encounter in 2016. Last December, a woman named Jauhara Jefferies refiled a suit in Miami against the crooner, claiming that in the early hours of a New Year's Day party in 2018, he sexually assaulted her at a nightclub.
