The 'Marry Me' star ditched her new green sparkler when checking out an empty office studio in Los Angeles, a few days after being spotted wearing the huge rock while doing furniture shopping.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez removed any hint of her engagement to Ben Affleck, just hours before confirming the news. The actress/singer ditched the huge sparkler before she confirmed her betrothal to the actor for the second time.

J.Lo and Ben were spotted out and about on Friday, April 8, days after she sported the emerald green ring when doing furniture shopping. However, the rock was missing when she and her fiance checked in on some commercial real estate in Los Angeles on Friday.

During the outing, the pair showed off some PDA. In pictures obtained by TMZ, the couple was making out outside an empty office studio housed in a warehouse of some sort that they were checking out. In one of the snaps, Jen had her arm wrapped around Ben's waist and the ring wasn't there.

The "Hustlers" star appeared to be trying to keep it low-key before going public with their engagement. Later on the same day, she unleashed a video via Instagram in which she gave a close look at her engagement ring.

The 52-year-old star looked emotional in the sweet clip as she was seen staring tearfully and adoringly at the gorgeous green-hued diamond ring. "You're perfect," she said in a voiceover as romantic music played in the background.

Despite their engagement, J.Lo and Ben apparently are not rushing to the altar. The couple reportedly has not begun the wedding planning. A source allegedly close to the "Marry Me" star tells PEOPLE that the pair are "not talking about a wedding" just yet.

The source, however, adds that she "loves her ring" and "can't stop looking at it." The so-called insider goes on dishing, "It's very cute to see how excited she is. Ben makes her incredibly happy."

Jen and Ben were previously engaged in 2002 and were set to get married in September 2003. However, they postposed their planned wedding due to "excessive media attention" and eventually called it quits in 2004.
