Appearing on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', the 'Selling Sunset' star talks about moving on from broken marriage, and says when life gives you lemon, 'sometimes you gotta add a little vodka.'

AceShowbiz - One ring was all it took for Chrishell Stause to buy herself new home. The "Selling Sunset" star sold the wedding ring she had from her marriage to ex-husband Justin Hartley to buy a $3.3 million house.

During her appearance in Wednesday, April 6 episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show", Chrishell was quizzed by host Kelly Clarkson, "So you sold your wedding ring to help pay for your new house? Was that therapeutic?" She, in return, chuckled before answering, "You know, Kelly? Sometimes, when life gives you lemon, sometimes you gotta add a little vodka."

Chrishell added that she "was trying to make the best out of a situation." Kelly, who went through a difficult divorce herself, expressed her approval by praising, "Yeah, yeah. That's amazing, I mean what are you suppose to do? Keep wearing it? I guess, I think that's amazing. You did something good with the money."

Chrishell bought her multi-million dollar home in June 2021. In her autobiography "Under Construction", the "All My Children" alum openly admitted that selling her wedding ring helped her get a her four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom pad in Hollywood Hills. She wrote, "Moving into my home, a home I'd worked hard to earn (okay, fine, selling my wedding ring helped), was a major milestone that I won't forget."

Chrishell got married to Justin in October 2017 after dating for four years. Two years later, the two went on their separate ways since Justin filed for a divorce on November 22, 2019. The divorce was officially finalized in February 2021.

After splitting from Justin in 2019, Chrishell got into a relationship with "Dancing with the Stars" professional Keo Motsepe. The two, however, called it quits in February 2021. She then dated Jason Oppenheim, her "Selling Sunset" boss, for a few months before breaking up in December 2021.
