AceShowbiz - Chrishell Stause, the 43-year-old star of Netflix's "Selling Sunset", recently opened up about a significant health scare that led her to undergo a second breast augmentation surgery. In an Instagram post, Stause disclosed that a full body scan earlier this year revealed that both of her breast implants, originally placed 15 years ago, had ruptured.
"My first thought was fear," Stause admitted, as she pondered the potential complications and the need for surgery.
Despite experiencing no symptoms, Stause decided to replace the ruptured implants. "I didn't like feeling like I could be hurting my body in the long run," she said. Her initial surgeon had retired, prompting her to find a new specialist. Eventually, she connected with Dr. Josef Hadeed, who successfully removed the silicone and replaced her "vintage" implants on June 27.
Through her candid posts, Stause aimed to raise awareness about the risks of aging breast implants and the importance of regular health checks. She stressed that she was not advocating for plastic surgery but rather encouraging those who have implants to prioritize their health.
"Plastic surgery is a personal choice and I'm in no way encouraging anyone to change anything about their body," she stated. "If you do make that choice for yourself, it's so important to stay on top of your health."
Stause's journey also included a bit of comic relief. After her surgery, her partner G Flip, a 30-year-old musician, shared amusing moments from her recovery, including Stause speaking Spanish under pain medication and humorously declaring, "New tits, who dis?!"
The couple, who married in a surprise Las Vegas wedding in May 2023, celebrated their third wedding ceremony in Melbourne with family and friends.
In addition to her health update, Stause offered a glimpse into her personal life. Balancing the drama of "Selling Sunset" with personal projects, she has been exploring other opportunities, like hosting gigs. "I don't want to be involved in something where you have to come up with drama for a show," she told E! News, highlighting the need for authenticity in her relationships.
Chrishell Stause's transparency about her health scare and surgery serves as a reminder for everyone to stay vigilant about their well-being, especially when it comes to long-term implants. Her story resonates with many, encouraging a proactive approach to health while celebrating personal choices.
