The former Victoria's Secret model and her longtime love, who share 1-year-old daughter Mint van Leeuwen together, get engaged during a trip to Switzerland.

AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Romee Strijd. On Tuesday, January 26, the former Victoria's Secret model announced that she's engaged to her boyfriend of 12 years, Laurens van Leeuwen.
The 26-year-old beauty broke the happy news via Instagram on Tuesday, January 25. Sharing some photos from the proposal, she raved, "I said YES [ring and red heart emojis]."
Laurens popped the big question when they were vacationing in the snowy mountains of Switzerland. One picture saw him getting down on one knee as he held out the ring. Some others, meanwhile, showed the couple sharing a hug after she accepted the proposal.
Many have since sent out congratulatory messages in the comment section. One in particular was fellow Victoria's Secret model Josephine Skriver, who gushed, "Congratulations so happy for you two." Taylor Hill, meanwhile, penned, "My heart," along with crying emojis.
The engagement arrived more than two weeks after the lovebirds celebrated their 12th anniversary. On January 10, the Dutch native shared on Instagram a before-and-after photo of the two in Netherands.
The left snap saw them smiling ear-to-ear while posing in front of a windmill, while the right one showed the pair posing with their 1-year-old daughter, Mint van Leeuwen. She captioned the post, "Can't believe it's been 12 years. time flies when having fun.. can't think of a better partner, soulmate, friend and dad. I love you."
Also celebrating the special occasion was Laurens on his own Instagram page. "Then vs now.. 2010 vs 2022.. Abercrombie shoppings vs walks in the parks... Happy 12th anniversary! LY @romeestrijd," he noted alongside pictures of him and his now-fiancee.
Romee and Laurens welcomed baby Mint van Leeuwen back in December 2020. When announcing their baby's arrival, the proud mom wrote on Instagram, "feeling so blessed to finally hold you in my arms ... We are so in love with you!! (sic)"
