The 'Grind With Me' spitter points out that snitching isn't in his blood by saying that there are 'no rats' in his family following criticism over his jail sentence in PPP loan fraud case.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Baby Blue has responded to the criticism he received regarding the jail sentence in his PPP loan fraud case. After being accused of snitching by social media critics, the Pretty Ricky member insisted that he "could never be a snitch."

"N***as want me to be a snitch cuz they got snitching in they blood!" the 37-year-old rapper, whose real name is Diamond Blue Smith, wrote on his Instagram Story on Monday, December 27. He further stressed, "I'm cut different over here! Ain't no rats in my family! I could never be a snitch!"

Baby Blue went on highlighting that snitching isn't in his family blood, "My ancestors wouldn't like that!" The "Nothing But a Number" rapper continued fuming, "Whole time, 2 n***as in my case turned informant and telling everything they can!"

His social media post arrived after he took a plea deal and was sentenced to 20 months behind bars since he was accused of falsifying legal documents and giving inaccurate information in order to secure more than $20 million in Paycheck Protection Program loans. He's also been ordered to pay $2 million in forfeiture and restitution.

It was found that Baby Blue used the loans for frivolous luxuries instead of any business ventures. The "Grind With Me" spitter allegedly spent the money for a new Ferrari and gambling at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in South Florida. He also reportedly paid $250,000 to facilitate the paperwork.

Earlier this month, however, Baby Blue took a plea deal. Shortly after, he wrote via Instagram that he couldn't change "the beginning but [he] can start where [he is] and change the ending."

"There are things in life we don't want to happen but have to accept; Lessons in life we don't want to know but have to learn," Baby Blue continued in his post. He added, "We have to remember that life's greatest lessons are usually learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes." He concluded his post by noting that "sometimes the bad things that happens to us end up putting us on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us."
