A chilling video uploaded minutes before the incident shows a masked person in a hoodie and holding a crossbow saying he wanted to 'assassinate the Queen' in a 'revenge' mission.

AceShowbiz - Queen Elizabeth II's quiet holiday was almost disrupted by an intruder at Windsor Castle. An armed man was arrested on Christmas Day at the royal compound where the Queen is spending the holiday with other members of the royal family.
Armed police responded to a security breach at 8.30 A.M. on Saturday, December 25 within the grounds of Windsor Castle. The crossbow-wielding man was arrested for suspicion of breach or trespass of a protected site and possession of an offensive weapon.
The police spokesman declined to comment on the identity of the person in the video, but British newspapers named him as Indian-origin Sikh Jaswant Singh Chail, known to friends as Jas. In a pre-recorded video uploaded to Snapchat 24 minutes before the arrest, a masked man, who claimed to be Jas, said he wanted to "assassinate the Queen."
The man, wearing a "Star Wars"-inspired mask and a hoodie, and using a distorted voice, said in the video shared to Jas' friend that he wanted to seek revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I've done and what I will do," he said to the camera.
"I intend to assassinate Elizabeth, queen of the royal family," he added. "This is revenge for those who have died in the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It is also revenge for those who have been killed, humiliated and discriminated on because of their race. I'm an Indian Sikh, a Sith. My name was Jaswant Singh Chail, my name is Darth Jones."
Scotland Yard confirmed detectives were "assessing the contents of a video" following the arrest of the armed intruder. The 19-year-old man from Southampton is being held under the Mental Health Act and is in "the care of medical professionals," said police.
The Queen was having her breakfast inside the castle at the time and other members of the royal family were present. She was due to be joined for lunch by Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Prince Edward and Sophie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
Following the arrest, Jas' father Jasbir Singh Chail told Daily Mail something had "gone horribly wrong with our son and we are trying to figure out what." He added, "We've not had a chance to speak to him but are trying to get him the help he needs. From our perspective, we are going through a difficult time. We are trying to resolve this issue and it's not easy."
