The 'It Kills Me' singer proudly shows off her baby daughter Kaia on social media after welcoming the bundle of joy with her husband of one year, Jared Cotter.

AceShowbiz - Meet adorable baby Kaia! Melanie Fiona debuted her newborn daughter, Kaia, to mark the festive holiday. She shared a heartwarming picture of her 5-year-old son holding his little sister. "When Cameron Lincoln met Kaia Love," she explained.

Little Kaia is Melanie's second child with husband Jared Cotter. The "It Kills Me" hitmaker gave birth to the bundle of joy a week before Christmas Day. "Christmas came early - 12.18.21," the singer/songwriter revealed to online followers.

Proud dad Jared also shared photos of the baby. One showed him falling asleep on a coach with the little one on his chest and the others holding his precious child on a hospital bed.

Melanie previously said her pregnancy was a pleasant surprise, "If you had asked me last year, if having another baby was in the cards, I would've said 'Naaah, we good.' Yet here I am, 2021, 9 months pregnant, standing in a fully decorated and designed nursery awaiting the arrival of my daughter."

The mother of two explained, "The point of this story? Allow yourself to be surprised by who and what you can become. You are allowed to change and change your mind. This is the beauty of your life."

Melanie and her songwriter hubby welcomed their second child roughly a week after celebrating their first wedding anniversary. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in Los Angeles on December 12, 2020 after calling off their original plans for an Italian wedding due to pandemic.

"Anything is Possibleā€¦If you're willing to adjust your perspective," she wrote back then. "We had to postpone our wedding three times this year. We had to accept that a full ceremony with our loved ones could not be possible until 2021."

"But we also knew we wanted to be married this year. So, we made it happen!!! We took what was in our control and saw it through. On 12-12-2020, I married my best friend, my partner, my twin flame, in the most perfectly possible way."
