AceShowbiz - The People's Choice Awards 2021 is finally here! Before the awards are given out to the winners of this year's star-studded bash, celebrities hit the red carpet in their glam style. Laverne Cox and Paris Jackson were the visions at the ceremony. The "Orange Is the New Black" actress opted to go purple from head to toe, while the singer flaunted her body tattoos on the glamorous red carpet.
When stepping onto the red carpet on Tuesday, December 7 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, Laverne made sure all eyes were on her as she made her debut as red carpet host at the award-giving event. The 49-year-old actress looked stunning in her Jean-Louis Sabaji purple sheer feathered dress.
Seemingly wanting to go extra, Laverne also rocked a head full of lilac tresses. The "Promising Young Woman" star looked breathtaking as she struck an array of poses showcasing her toned figure.
"Am I serving? Am I giving you what you need?" Laverne joked while walking on the red carpet. The Frank N. Furter depicter in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show Event" added, "Am I giving what needs to be given, darling? Let me know."
Previously, Laverne admitted to feeling "excited and deeply humbled" to be hosting E!'s iconic red carpet coverage. The "Jolt" actress gushed, "For many years I would wake up early on awards show days, get my snacks in place and watch E!'s coverage all day long." She added, "I dreamed of walking red carpets."
"Now, not only have I had several fun and amazing personal red carpet moments, but I also get to be a red carpet guide for E!'s discerning audience," Laverne shared. She also said that she's excited to "chat with my colleagues and folks I deeply admire for these very special events in their lives."
In the meantime, Paris turned heads in a plunging cleavage-baring olive dress, flaunting her body tattoos. To complete her look, the daughter of Michael Jackson wore fishnet stockings and plaid print platform heels. The singer described her style as "grunge fairy core." She told Laverne, "My fashion kind of just depends on what music I'm listening to."
As for Porsha Williams, she dropped jaws in a sexy busty black dress. Her dress also featured a sexy thigh slit, revealing her legs. Aside from Porsha, Becky G also flaunted her toned physique in a sizzling black and yellow Roberto Cavalli floor-length gown, featuring a thigh-high slit and stomach cut-out.
Becky told red carpet host Laverne of her gown choice, "Yellow is my favorite color, so it really called out to me at last night's fitting when I got off the flight and so tired." The 24-year-old singer added, "I was like, 'I can't see nothing, I'm tired.' That yellow dress, that's the one. And it's a Cavalli dress. I felt like, I don't know, I wanted to be sexy, I wanted something fun."
Meanwhile, Halle Berry channeled Catwoman with her dazzling suit. The "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" star looked fierce in a shimmery lavender catsuit that featured zipper detailing and an explosion of sequins. She added silver drop earrings and sparkly purple eyeshadow.
Erika Jayne also hit the red carpet. When making a rare public appearance amid her legal issue, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star showed off her tight bun and unique festive bow hair accessory. For the special night, the 50-year-old reality star wore a black sparkling minidress with structured shoulders and a high collar.
This year's event also featured one new couple making their romance red carpet official. The said couple was none other than Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos. When posing for photos, the "Sex/Life" actress let out a big laugh next to her co-star.
Sarah donned a curve-hugging ruched gown with chain-link straps and a high slit. In the meantime, Adam looked dapper in a double-breasted checkered suit with a simple black tee underneath.
