Despite getting backlash for comparing the two hip-hop stars' lyrical skills, the comedian insists that the 'ZEZE' spitter is 'most definitely spiritually tapped in.'

AceShowbiz - Kodak Black has reacted to Lil Duval's recent post. After the comedian compared his lyrical skills to Kendrick Lamar's, the "ZEZE" spitter said he'll "appreciate" the comparison.
On Tuesday, December 8, Duval took to Twitter and penned, "Kodak really up there with Kendrick lyrically but y'all don't wanna hear it tho." However, the tweet didn't sit well with many users on the blue-bird app.
One person in particular argued, "This the worse musical take I seen since n***as said carti the new tupac." Another added, "This is wild disrespectful to kdot." A third individual commented, "Kodak is maybe as creative as kdot but lyrically ahhhhhhh nuhhh."
The post also didn't go unnoticed by Kodak. After the post was reshared by The Shade Room on Instagram, he commented, "I understand it be controversial s**t behind me but I'll appreciate it if y'all just worry bout me Fa my talent & not da other s**t on social media !!! Thank You."
As for Duval, he took to Twitter once again to respond to the backlash. "Most of yall hating on Kodak don't even listen to him [several crying laughing emojis] your opinion don't even matter," he noted, before adding in another post, "N***a said i must be comparing Kodak to Kendrick Perkins."
Duval also reacted to a tweet that read, "I listen to both. You tweaking OG! Kodak ain't spiritually tapped in like Kendrick.. that spirituality Kendrick delivers is what brings his bars alive.. Kodak ain't got that.. he nice regardless." In response, the funnyman insisted, "No u trippin Kodak is most definitely spiritually tapped in. That's what makes him special."
This was not the first time Duval came under fire over his comparison. He was previously dragged by hip-hop fans after comparing DaBaby to Ludacris. Even the "Suge" rapper himself pushed back on the comic's statement.
"I wouldn't even say we're one of the same," DaBaby told Billboard on the BET Awards red carpet back in June. "I feel like that's too commonly used. I think people use that too lightly. I was inspired by Ludacris' creativity with his music videos. [I was inspired] by a lot of people. Not only people like Ludacris, but people like Nelly. I mean, everybody."
