Synopsis

A female-driven action-comedy, "Jolt" follows Lindy (Kate Beckinsale), a badass bouncer with a slightly murderous anger-management problem that she controls with the help of an electrode-lined vest she uses to shock herself back to normalcy whenever she gets homicidal. One day she makes a connection with Justin (Jai Courtney), which gives her a glimmer of hope for a shock-free future but when he's murdered, she launches herself on a revenge-fueled rampage in pursuit of his killer. Meanwhile, detective Vicars (Bobby Cannavale) and detective Nevin (Laverne Cox) mark Lindy as their chief suspect.
