AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran has finally released one of his holiday songs featuring Elton John. On Friday, December 3, the English musicians dropped "Merry Christmas" along with its fun-filled music video that featured a "lot of" sleigh bells.

The Jason Koenig-directed visuals opens with Ed belting out uplifting lyrics while Elton plays a red piano in a fully-decorated room. As the clip transitions, the "Photograph" hitmaker is seen hilariously dancing in a Santa Claus costume.

"I feel it where it comes/ Every year havin' us carry on/ Filled up with so much love," Ed and Elton sing together. "All the family and friends are together where we all belong/ Merry Christmas, everyone."

The more-than-three-minute video, which features cameos from Justin Hawkins, Jonathan Ross and Michael McIntyre, also showcases Ed playing a snowball fight with some people before flying with a snowman. He then joins Elton singing with a handful of dancers inside a cozy room.

Ed and Elton previously teased "Merry Christmas" and its music video on Monday, November 29. At that time, they shared a video of the "Perfect" crooner doing his best "Love Actually" impression. In the clip, he's seen recreating the scene where Andrew Lincoln's Mark professes his love to Keira Knightley's Juliet with romantic cue cards.

"Hello. Last Christmas I received a call from my mate Elton John and he told me we should do a 'Christmas Song,' And I replied 'Yeah. Maybe in 2022.' But I actually wrote the chorus that day and here we are," so read the cards. "Our Christmas song 'Merry Christmas' is out this Friday. Go pre-order or pre-save it now. It has sleigh bells. A lot of them...."

Alongside the post, Ed wrote, "Our song 'Merry Christmas' is out this Friday. Link in bio to pre-order it or pre-save it." He went on to inform his fans, "All UK profits from this year’s Christmas period will go to the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation (www.essmf.com) and the Elton John AIDS Foundation (@ejaf )."

When appearing in a November episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", Ed divulged that he and Elton have written three Christmas songs together. He later shared, "I've always been quite against it. Not that I don't like Christmas, I love Christmas, but in terms of doing a Christmas song, you need to chuck the kitchen sink at it."
