AceShowbiz - Post Malone and The Weeknd get violent in the "One Right Now" music video. In the clip released on Monday, November 15, the "Rockstar" hitmaker and the "Save Your Tears" singer become revengeful enemies who try to kill each other.
The Tanu Muino-directed visuals starts with the "Blinding Lights" crooner trying to get revenge on his cheating ex. After walking into a building filled with a number of men, the Canadian native opens fires on the security guards.
"You say you love me but I don't care/ That I broke my hand on the same wall that you told me that he f**ked you on," the former boyfriend of Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid sings. "You think it's so easy/ F**kin' with my feelings/ I got one comin' over and one right now/ One right now."
Having heard the attack, Malone picks up his own gun while singing, "Bought you a new face/ You should call me Dad baby Hermes/ But you dropped the bag baby/ Truth is maybe one's just not enough." He later shoots The Weeknd doppelgangers before they finally meet and fatally shoot each other.
"One Right Now" marks the first collaboration for Malone and The Weeknd. The track, which was produced by Louis Bell, Brian Lee and Andrew Bolooki, was first released as a single through Republic Records on November 5.
The track arrived ater The Weeknd dropped "Take My Breath" in early August. Prior to this, he was featured in Swedish House Mafia's "Moth to a Flame". The 31-year-old previously appeared on Doja Cat's "You Right", Belly's "Better Believe", which also features Young Thug, as well as Kanye West's "Hurricane".
As for Malone, he recently canceled his third annual Posty Fest due to logistical problems in enforcing COVID-19 protocols in Texas. The two-day festival was then moved to 2022.
