The 'Love, Wedding, Repeat' actress and her mother are accused of negligence when Celso Merida died from his injuries two weeks after falling while replacing the roof at their home.

AceShowbiz - Pregnant Olivia Munn and her mother are being sued by the family of a man who fell to his death while replacing the roof at their home.

Celso Merida died from his injuries two weeks after the accident in May 2021, and now his family members are demanding compensation, claiming Munn hired an unlicensed contractor who recruited Merida.

His family claims Olivia and Kim Schmid were negligent and in court papers, obtained by TMZ, they allege the actress and her mother instructed Merida to work on the roof, even though the required safety guards and fall protection were not in place, and the late worker was not given the correct tools for him to work safely.

The family is suing Olivia and Kim for wrongful death. Munn has yet to comment.

That aside, the actress is dealing with her feeling unprepared for motherhood. When speaking virtually to guest host Stephen "tWitch" Boss, the 41-year-old said of her pregnancy, "I'm doing pretty good. It's such a new experience and things are changing with your body all the time... Every day there's something new that's happening that I'm trying to figure out."

Asking "The Predator" star whether she's prepared, the expectant mom said, "People ask me that all the time... and no, I'm not prepared. A lot comes at me. I don't really know what to take in."

Prior to this, it was reported that there's much "uncertainty" in Munn and John Mulaney's romance. "This has been an imperfect relationship from the start. The issues between the couple allegedly got the actress' inner circle concerned that things might be over as fast as it started," a source said.
