When slamming criticism about her appearance on 'And Just Like That...', the 'Sex and the City' star says that she knows what she looks like but she cannot stop aging.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Jessica Parker makes it clear that she is no fan of bullying. In a new interview, the "Sex and the City" star slammed "misogynist" criticism about her appearance on "Sex and the City" revival, "And Just Like That…".
During the interview with Vogue for the magazine's December cover story, the 56-year-old actress shared, "There's so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would never. Happen. About. A. Man." The series creator, Michael Patrick King, chimed in, "There were a lot of positive reactions, but one b***hy response online was people sharing pictures of 'The Golden Girls' and I was like, 'Wow, so it's either you're 35, or you're retired and living in Florida. There's a missing chapter here.' "
In the article published on Sunday, November 7, Sarah also addressed the online conversation about photos that surfaced previously of herself rocking gray hair and a bare face, while out to brunch with Andy Cohen. "I'm sitting with Andy Cohen and he has a full head of gray hair, and he's exquisite," the HBO star said.
"Why is it okay for him? I don't know what to tell you, people! Especially on social media," Sarah fumed. The "Hocus Pocus" star added, "Everyone has something to say. 'She has too many wrinkles, she doesn't have enough wrinkles.' "
Sarah continued, "It almost feels as if people don't want us to be perfectly okay with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better." She went on saying, "I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?"
The revival series, which is set to premiere on HBO Max in December, will follow Sarah as Carrie, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda and Kristin Davis as Charlotte. According to a press release, "they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s." Other "Sex and the City" veterans namely Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler and Willie Garson, who died from pancreatic cancer in September, will also appear.
