AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Monyetta Shaw. More than a month after revealing that she is engaged to boyfriend Heath Carter, the actress portraying Odetta in "Soul Men" tied the knot with her fiance.
Revealing the happy news was Kandi Burruss on Sunday, November 7. Taking to her Instagram account, the former Xscape member shared a photo of her posing with the newly-wed couple along with her husband Todd Tucker, T.I. and Tiny Harris a.k.a. Tameka Cottle.
In the caption of the post, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star gushed, "Congratulations @monyettashaw & @kymaticaenergy!!!!!" She then added hashtags, "#ShawCarterLove #TheCarterVibe."
Also sharing the identical snap was Tiny on her own Instagram page. She captioned it, "Super proud to say our girl @monyettashaw is married now! Congratulations to @kymaticaenergy & the beautiful bride. Just Coupled up!!"
As for Kandi, she also gave fans a look at Monyetta's wedding party. The TV personality shared a clip of the bride and the groom walking and dancing on the altar as they greeted their guests.
Monyetta announced her engagement to Heath on September 28. At that time, the founder of The Evan Grace Group made use of Instagram to post some pictures of her and the businessman from the special day.
Among those congratulating the two was Monyetta's baby daddy, Ne-Yo. "FLY S**T HAPPY S**T. So happy for you guys!!!!!" the "Miss Independent" crooner exclaimed, to which she replied, "Thank you so much!!!"
Monyetta and Ne-Yo have maintained an amicable relationship since parting ways in 2013. The duo, who were previously engaged, have been co-parenting their two kids together, 10-year-old daughter Madilyn Grace Smith and 9-year-old son Mason Evan Smith.
Ne-Yo himself is also a father to Isabella, Roman and Shaffer, whom he shares with his wife Crystal Smith. They got married in 2016 but split in early 2020. They reconciled, and he proposed to her once again on New Year's Eve.
