The 'Emily in Paris' actress, who tied the knot with the filmmaker in early September, also explains in a new interview why she held their wedding at Dunton Hot Springs in Dunton, Colorado.

AceShowbiz - Lily Collins has opened up about how it feels to be a wife. Nearly two months after tying the knot with filmmaker Charlie McDowell, the "Emily in Paris" leading lady admits that she "feels very old" after entering married life.

The 32-year-old beauty made the honest confession in a new interview with Nylon. "It's so nice to be able to finally say that I'm a wife, [but] sometimes it makes me feel very old," she stated.

Lily and Charlie exchanged wedding vows in early September at Dunton Hot Springs in Dunton, Colorado. The actress then explained that they chose the location to remember their British-American heritage. "It was very reminiscent of the rolling hills and forests in England. We're both dual citizens, so it was something that we wanted to lean into," she elaborated.

The "Love, Rosie" actress announced her marriage via Instagram. Sharing a sweet picture of her kissing her husband at their wedding, she gushed, "I've never wanted to be someone's someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other's forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell."

In a separate post, Lily described her romance with Charlie as a fairytale come true. "What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I'll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start," she penned.

In her interview with Nylon, Lily also spoke out about her and her husband's work/life dynamic before they got married. "I was actually surprised that I was able to really separate him as a director and also as fiance," she said. "It was so collaborative and fun to go to work and be trusted by each other, and to also take a break from it when you get home and just kind of watch a show and tune out."
